With experience in professional kitchens, I've also written restaurant and
cookbook reviews, as well as publishing original recipes. 

My stories have transported readers from Nashville's 'sips and sweets' to
authentic British tea service within minutes of my house.

Travel has also provided me with many eco-friendly experiences including green lodging stays as well as sustainability efforts in our communities.  

​In June 2011, The Countryman Press/W.W. Norton published my 394-page nationally distributed travel book, An Explorer's Guide: Kansas. The project encompassed 13,000+ solo drive miles, 4,000+ photographs, & 100+ nights on the road. Featuring 130+ author images, this travel guide is still available online or in bookstores.
